Absolutely. Samples are available for all of our made to measure fabrics, giving you the chance to see the colour, texture and drape in your own home before placing an order.

Many of our products are made to measure, so your order may currently be with our Hampshire workroom team as it is carefully made to your chosen specifications.
You’ll find the estimated making time on the product page. Once your order has been completed, it will be dispatched and you’ll receive an email with tracking details so you can follow its journey and manage your delivery.
If the estimated making time has passed and you haven’t received a dispatch email, please send us a message with your order number and we’ll be happy to look into this for you.
Gather is sometimes also referred to as fullness. It describes the amount of fabric used across the width of your curtain and the amount of folds created when it is hung.
Flat - A clean, simple look with the curtain sitting closer to the window. This works well with structured fabrics and more pared-back interiors.
1.5x gather - A gentle softness with a relaxed drape. A versatile choice that works well across many café curtain fabrics.
2x gather - A more traditional look with fuller folds and a softer feel. This works particularly well with lighter sheers and linen-look fabrics.
2.5x gather - A generous fullness with deeper folds and a relaxed drape. Best suited to finer, lighter fabrics where the extra fabric adds movement without feeling heavy.
Each product page includes specific gather recommendations based on the fabric. If you’re unsure which option is right for your curtain, please get in touch before ordering - we’re always happy to offer guidance.
You certainly can. Care guidance is included on each product page, so simply return to the design you’ve ordered and you’ll find the recommended instructions for looking after your curtain there.
This option is simply here to make things easier when your order arrives.
Add a window name such as Kitchen or Living Room, and we’ll label each curtain accordingly so you know exactly where it belongs. It’s a small detail that can make hanging your curtains a little simpler.
If you’d prefer to leave this blank, that’s absolutely fine.
Voile is a sheer fabric, and the level of privacy it provides will vary depending on the design and weave you choose.
Some voiles have a more open weave, allowing plenty of natural light through while offering a lighter level of privacy. Others have a denser weave, creating a more sheltered feel while still allowing light into your room.
As every home and window is different, samples are available if you’d like to see how a fabric looks in your own space before placing an order. You can find more information about requesting samples here.

It depends on the product you’ve ordered. If an item has been made to measure, we’re sorry but it cannot be returned. Once it has been made to the sizes confirmed on your order confirmation, it has been created specifically for your window.
