Why order a sample?

When choosing a made to measure curtain, seeing the fabric in your own home makes all the difference. Colours, texture and transparency can appear different depending on the light in your room, so we always recommend ordering a sample before placing your order.

A sample gives you the opportunity to see how the fabric works with your décor, whether that's painted cabinetry, warm ceramics or natural wood finishes. It also allows you to feel the texture, assess the drape and decide if it's the right choice for your window. It's a small step that can give you complete confidence before ordering.

Sample orders are usually dispatched within 1-2 working days, so you won't have long to wait.

Ordering Samples

Ordering samples is straightforward. Simply select Order a Sample on the product page and it will be added to your basket.

You can order up to five samples at a time. Once you've made your selection, complete the checkout and we'll prepare them for dispatch.

If you're stuck for choice we also offer sample packs each containing 5 samples. These can be found here.

We charge £1.99 just to cover the postage of 5 samples (or 1 sample pack).

If you order more than 1 sample pack then each additional pack would be charged at 99p per pack.

Choosing the right samples

Before ordering, it's worth thinking about how you'd like your finished curtain to look.

If you're deciding between header styles, choose samples from products that offer the header you're planning to order. If you're considering a fuller gather, remember that larger patterns will appear differently once the curtain is gathered, while smaller or more subtle designs tend to remain consistent.

Some of our products are made using the same fabric but with different heading options. In these cases, the sample will be identical, so there's no need to order both.
