A note on gather For a more traditional gather order at 2.5x your window width. For a flatter, more uniform appearance order at 2x. Both work - it's a question of the look you're after.  For a cleaner, more screen-like look you may wish to opt for flat.

A note on the heading The 5cm slot top sits neatly on a rod up to 19mm diameter with no stand-up - so the fabric falls straight from the pole. Clean, unfussy, exactly right for a café curtain.
